Warm weather at last...

Today, as I stepped out of our Richmond Annex abode I immediately noticed that the jacket I was wearing was not necessary!  The warm weather is finally here...June 12.

It was my birthday on Saturday.  I had a fabulous weekend - kicked it off with some babysitting for a very generous family, then Saturday celebrated with morning latte, waffle breakfast, time with my mom and my sister, a birthday dinner at my brother and new sister-in-law's place (and some Dog-opoly with Austi), then ended the night with a movie w/ friends - Ocean's 13.  They say that there are three good things about that movie: Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Matt ...

Sunday we had a family fun celebration where I blew out my "decade candles" (in honor of reaching twenty) along with the six other ones.:)  I got tons of really nice presents, and spent the day with family.  thanks everyone!!!

I don't have anything clever to write on my first post.  My brother's out of the country...and my other brother is in So. Cal - I miss both of them.

Today we're celebrating my mom's birthday.  When we were kids - my parents used to say they were 100 and 103 respectively.   I'm guessing that this year they're probably around somewhere in the 120's =).

Leah and I went to an Ecuador v.s. Mexico soccer game last month.  Never in my life have I seen so many people out to support a sports team with such passion.  LITERALLY, it seemed like almost every person i n the stadium was decked out in their green, red, and white.  This weekend I'm going to a U.S. v.s. China game in San Jose.

Go U.S.A.!
